Luca Salsi – a real Verdian singer, interpreted the title role with expressiveness and strong phrasing. He impressed the public with his aria “Dio di Giuda”. In the role of Abigaille of Martina Serafin displayed great power of her voice, although has certain difficulties in the high register.
Perfect timbre and colours, strong character demonstrated Dimitry Beloselsky in the role of Zaccaria. Nino Surguladze was a credible Fenena. Piero Pretti as Ismaele impressed with his well placed, beautiful voice and musicality. Cast was completed by Alessandro Guerzoni, Francesco Pittari e Madina Karbeli, who in the role of Anna created equilibrium in the difficult ensembles with her distinctive quality of voice – beautiful and clear voice.
